In the early 90’s our CEO Mikael Larsson was participating a scientific glass blowing education at the Swedish pharmaceutical company Pharmacia at their division for glass processing.
Pharmacia was later bought and restructured and the decision to dismantle the scientific glass blowing was taken.
Mikael took the opportunity to acquire the machinery and a part of the work force and formed Glaskomponent.
The company has since then developed in several directions:
We continue to grow and evolve, always with a focus on innovation, quality, and delivering customized glass solutions for our customers. Our commitment to precision glass processing, scientific glassblowing, and customer-specific solutions makes us a reliable partner for both small and large companies.
Several prominent parties and experts contributed to the creation of the beer. The research institute RISE enabled the filling of the bottle by providing precision capillaries intended for fiber optics.
The company Glaskomponent, specialized in glassblowing for laboratory equipment among other things, developed the bottle. Miniature artist Åsa Strand added the cap, label, and color to the bottle. The non-alcoholic beer was specially brewed at Carlsberg’s experimental brewery in Falkenberg to create an intense flavor experience, despite the limited volume of approximately 0.005 centiliters.
